Ali Mohammad Naini, the official spokesperson of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed in an airstrike, according to the Tasnim news agency, reports customreceipt.com via Tasnim. The incident marks another high-profile casualty among Iranian leadership amid ongoing hostilities.

Representatives of the IRGC condemned the attack, describing it as a “cowardly act of state terrorism” and заявили про намір відповісти на удар. The statement emphasized that retaliation would follow the killing of their spokesperson.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed responsibility for the operation, stating that Naini had served as the “chief propagandist” of the IRGC. Israeli officials framed the strike as part of broader military actions targeting key figures linked to Iran’s military and political structures.

Ali Mohammad Naini had held the position of IRGC press secretary since 2024, acting as a central public voice of the organization during a period of escalating regional tensions.

During the course of the conflict involving Iran, U.S. and Israeli forces have eliminated several senior figures within the Islamic Republic’s leadership. Among those previously reported killed are Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani.
