McDonald’s confirms the promotion begins October 6 and runs through November 1 while game pieces remain available. How McDonald’s Monopoly 2026 works
Customers can order an eligible menu item, peel the game piece from its packaging and scan it through the McDonald’s app. A piece may deliver free food, MyMcDonald’s Rewards points or a property needed for a larger prize.
The promotion combines the nostalgia of the original peel-to-win format with app-based play. Registration in the game must be completed before ordering to receive certain Bonus Chance Card opportunities.
Eligible products include popular menu choices such as:
- Big Mac
- Quarter Pounder with Cheese
- 10-piece Chicken McNuggets
- large fries and drinks
- Hash Browns
- selected McMuffin and biscuit sandwiches
Players can also receive Bonus Chance Card plays through eligible app purchases or by using a Rewards code through November 1.
The mechanics are deliberately simple. The sticker still provides the physical reveal, but the app handles registration and digital plays.
What prizes can players win?
The prize pool stretches well beyond free fries. Collect-to-win combinations and Chance Cards offer vehicles, travel and major cash awards.

The official rules list 50 Carnival cruise prizes and multiple 2027 Jeep Cherokee vehicles. The $1 million cash prize is paid as $50,000 annually for 20 years without interest.
For most players, however, smaller rewards will be far more common. McDonald’s states overall odds are approximately 1 in 5, with most winning outcomes being food prizes.
When does McDonald’s Monopoly 2026 end?
Physical game pieces are available from October 6 through November 1, subject to supplies. Chance Card gameplay continues until November 8, while the final prize-claim deadline is November 22.
That gives the promotion a relatively short window. Anyone planning to play should also keep winning physical pieces until the corresponding prize has been successfully claimed.
