Starbucks Red Cup Day 2025 brought a familiar holiday tradition back to U.S. coffeehouses on November 13. Customers purchasing eligible seasonal drinks received a free limited-edition reusable cup while supplies lasted. How Customers Could Get a Free Starbucks Red Cup
The giveaway was available at participating Starbucks locations across the United States. Customers qualified by ordering any size of a handcrafted holiday or fall beverage, whether hot, iced or blended.
According to the official Starbucks announcement, eligible drinks included:
- Peppermint Mocha and Caramel Brulée Latte
- Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
- Gingerbread Chai and Gingerbread Latte
- Sugar Cookie Latte and Sugar Cookie Breve
- Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte
- Selected holiday hot chocolates and seasonal cold foams
Each qualifying purchase came with a free 16-ounce reusable red cup, subject to availability.
Customers could participate through cafés, drive-thrus, the Starbucks app and supported delivery platforms. Starbucks Christmas Blend brewed coffee was excluded.
What Made the 2025 Starbucks Holiday Cup Different?
The collectible cup featured white, hand-drawn illustrations inspired by a welcoming coffeehouse during winter.
Starbucks designer Yvonne Chan created the artwork. The company said the cup contained 95% recycled material, reflecting its emphasis on reusable drinkware.
The promotion has been running since 2018. For 2025, Starbucks announced plans to distribute more cups than in previous years.
