New Apple Products 2026: iPhone 17e with Dynamic Island, A18 iPad with Apple Intelligence, M5 Max MacBook Pro Debut

Apple prepares to introduce iPhone 17e, A18 iPad, M4 iPad Air, new MacBook and upgraded M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro models this week.

Apple is set to begin rolling out a new wave of hardware products starting Monday, with several devices expected to join its lineup over the coming days, reports customreceipt.com via 9to5Mac. The launches are anticipated to include updates across the iPhone, iPad and Mac families, along with potential display and desktop announcements.

The iPhone 17 lineup, which has already generated strong demand, is expected to expand with the debut of the iPhone 17e. The new model will succeed the iPhone 16e in Apple’s portfolio and is projected to retain the same $599 starting price. However, the device is expected to introduce a series of hardware improvements. Among the reported upgrades are the A19 chip, a front-facing camera with Center Stage support, MagSafe compatibility, and new C1X and N1 wireless chips. There is also speculation that Apple could replace the notch with Dynamic Island, although this detail remains unconfirmed. While sales performance of the iPhone 16e has not been publicly detailed, the iPhone 17e is positioned as a more capable entry-level option within the iPhone 17 family.

In the tablet segment, Apple is anticipated to present two updated iPads: a base model powered by the A18 chip and a refreshed iPad Air featuring the M4 processor. The external design of both devices is expected to remain consistent with current versions, as the updates are primarily focused on internal specifications rather than physical redesign. The A18 chip in the entry-level iPad is considered particularly significant because it enables support for Apple Intelligence. An increasing number of iPadOS capabilities are being built around Apple Intelligence, and the A18 will allow the device to run the forthcoming upgraded Siri as well as existing AI-driven tools. The iPad Air with M4 is expected to deliver enhanced performance, aligning it more closely with Apple’s higher-tier computing products.

Apple is also rumored to reintroduce the “MacBook” nameplate after discontinuing its base model several years ago. The revived MacBook is expected to feature a 12.9-inch display, an A18 Pro chip, 8GB of RAM, and a selection of new color options. Pricing is projected to be approximately $699. The device is likely to be positioned toward users transitioning from PCs and Chromebooks, particularly those already integrated into the iPhone ecosystem. While it may not target professional workflows, the new MacBook is expected to emphasize portability and entry-level performance.

Within the MacBook Pro range, Apple is preparing to expand its M5 lineup. The M5 MacBook Pro was introduced in October with a 14-inch model equipped with the base M5 chip. This week, Apple is expected to release additional 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro configurations powered by the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. No external redesign is anticipated, as broader design changes are reportedly reserved for a later-generation M6 update planned for later this year. The upcoming models are expected to focus on performance gains, particularly in workloads related to artificial intelligence and advanced computing tasks.

Beyond these core announcements, additional products may also be introduced. The M5 MacBook Air is widely viewed as a strong candidate for launch. Apple released the M4 MacBook Air around the same period last year, and reports indicate that MacBook Air inventory levels have been reduced in Apple Stores, a pattern often associated with pending updates.

There are also indications that Apple could unveil a new Studio Display and an updated Mac Studio. The second-generation Studio Display is expected to incorporate a 120Hz ProMotion panel, HDR support, and an A19 chip. Meanwhile, the next Mac Studio is anticipated to be available in M5 Max and M5 Ultra configurations, marking the first Ultra chip release since the M3 generation.

Collectively, the expected announcements point to one of Apple’s most comprehensive hardware refresh cycles in recent months, spanning smartphones, tablets, laptops, displays and desktop systems.
