Aldi ready-made meals will arrive in select US stores in early October 2026. The new range includes 7 refrigerated meals priced below $15. It is the retailer’s first dedicated collection of fresh, ready-to-heat meals, as the customreceipt.com notes.
The launch was confirmed in an official ALDI announcement published on September 22. Delish also reported on the range after sampling several dishes.
What is included in the new Aldi ready-made meals range
The initial lineup consists of 5 single-serve meals and 2 family-size options. Single portions cost under $8 and provide between 30 and 46 grams of protein.
Family trays contain 4 servings. They cost under $15 and provide between 16 and 22 grams of protein per serving.
The 7 launch dishes are:
- Beef Bolognese Spaghetti
- Beef Brisket with White Mac & Cheese
- Butter Chicken & Rice
- Chicken Burrito Bowl
- Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo
- Chicken and Bacon Mac n’ Cheese
- Meat Lovers Pizza Bake
The first 5 dishes are single-serve meals. Chicken and Bacon Mac n’ Cheese and Meat Lovers Pizza Bake are family-size options.
Aldi focuses on fresh meals and fast preparation
Unlike many convenience meals, the new Aldi range is sold refrigerated rather than frozen. The company says the dishes are made with ingredients including chicken breast, smoked beef brisket, real cheese and prepared sauces.
Convenience is clearly central to the launch. Single portions require about 3.5 to 4.5 minutes in a microwave, depending on the dish.
Family-size meals need about 40 minutes in an oven. Aldi recommends heating them to an internal temperature of 165°F.

The pricing puts Aldi directly into the growing market for convenient meals that can replace takeaway food without reaching restaurant-level prices.
When will Aldi ready-made meals be available?
The rollout begins in selected Aldi markets in early October 2026. More locations will receive the meals throughout the fall.
Nationwide availability is expected by January 2027. Aldi also plans to introduce new dishes through Aldi Finds every month during the following year.
The meals will be stocked in the refrigerated section near the front entrance of participating stores.
“We tested hundreds of recipes as we developed this collection,” said Terry Jackson, Head of Food at Kitchen Food Company and an Aldi supplier. He said quality was treated as the main standard throughout development.
The launch expands Aldi’s convenience-food business at a time when shoppers increasingly want faster meals without a large restaurant bill. The monthly additions also suggest that the original 7 dishes are only the starting point.
