Disney Celebrates America has launched a nationwide media event for the United States’ 250th anniversary. The program connects live reporting, historical stories, music and theme park celebrations across several Disney platforms, according to the Baltimore Chronicle.

The 24-hour coverage began on July 3 and continues through July 4, 2026. ABC News anchor David Muir leads the broadcast alongside prominent Disney and ABC personalities.
Viewers can follow the event through:

- FX, Freeform and National Geographic;
- live reports from cities across the United States.
The broad distribution turns the anniversary into a single cross-platform television event. Programming combines national ceremonies with smaller stories about communities, traditions and American landmarks.

Disney’s coverage includes reports from Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The evening schedule concludes with fireworks broadcasts from both destinations.

Disney parks support the campaign through patriotic ceremonies, themed food and the new Soarin’ Across America experience. The attraction presents major cities, coastlines and natural landscapes through an immersive simulated flight.
Disney Celebrates America therefore operates as more than a holiday broadcast. It combines journalism, entertainment and corporate storytelling around the country’s semiquincentennial.
