Baha Mar Opens The Studio: Live Podcast Experiences & Celebrity Guests

Baha Mar opens The Studio, the world’s first resort-centric podcast venue in The Bahamas, offering live shows, celebrity interviews, and immersive guest experiences.

Baha Mar, the Caribbean’s premier luxury resort, has officially opened The Studio at Baha Mar, a dedicated space for live podcast recordings, celebrity interviews, and lifestyle-driven guest experiences, reports customreceipt.com via Baha Mar Press Release. Situated next to the resort’s pool and beachfront, The Studio is recognized as the world’s first resort-focused podcast environment. Designed with acoustically soundproofed walls, flexible lighting, advanced streaming technology, and seating for live audiences, the venue offers a professional-quality audio-visual production setting. Guests can enjoy a refined café, bar, and expansive terrace, elevating dining experiences while attending events. The space aims to foster creativity, meaningful conversation, and interaction in a luxurious, multipurpose environment.

Graeme Davis, President of Baha Mar, stated, “We are proud to once again redefine what a resort experience can be. The Studio at Baha Mar brings global conversations to The Bahamas, providing the world’s most influential voices with a novel way to engage directly with audiences who value unprecedented access, spontaneous entertainment, and meaningful connections while traveling. With almost 600 million podcast listeners globally in 2025, it’s an incredible way to showcase Baha Mar.”

To celebrate its grand opening, The Studio hosted five leading podcast creators during a residency from February 26–27, 2026, in collaboration with iHeartMedia, a global leader in audio storytelling. Featured podcasts included My Favorite Murder with Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, 9021OMG with Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth, Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley and Tanya Rad, misspelling, and I Choose Me. Throughout 2026, iHeartMedia plans to bring 26 of its top-performing shows to The Studio at Baha Mar, enhancing the guest experience with on-site recordings.

Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts, emphasized, “Podcasting is an incredibly intimate medium, built on trust and connection. By bringing our iconic shows to Baha Mar, we’re extending that connection beyond headphones and into real-world experiences. This partnership allows our talent and audiences to engage in newly innovative ways, while set against one of the most beautiful backdrops in the world.”

Beyond visiting podcast residencies, The Studio will function as a permanent creative hub at Baha Mar, hosting immersive programming designed to inspire storytelling, learning, and engagement across generations. Planned initiatives include original Baha Mar-branded content highlighting personalities from the resort and The Bahamas, youth-oriented podcasting workshops focusing on storytelling, interviewing, and digital creativity, as well as multigenerational sessions such as guided storytelling and recorded oral histories aimed at preserving family legacies.
