Reports also indicate a possible split launch strategy, delaying the release of the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and next-generation iPhone Air to early 2027.
According to leaks shared on social media by @TechHome100, the iPhone 18 Pro series will retain the 6.27-inch 120Hz Pro display and the 6.86-inch 120Hz Pro Max display from the previous generation but will replace the Dynamic Island with a new under-display area, potentially enhancing the overall screen aesthetics.
Apple is expected to introduce the A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm manufacturing process for the first time in its history. The chip will also use WMCM (Wafer-Level Multi-Chip Module) packaging, which could improve performance efficiency and energy consumption compared to the A17 series, 9to5mac reported.
