Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen is bringing the familiar blue-box brand into the American ramen aisle for the first time. Three varieties are planned for a nationwide rollout in early 2027, as the customreceipt.com editorial team notes.
The move marks Kraft Mac & Cheese’s first entry into a completely new food category in nearly 20 years. The company announced the launch through an official Kraft Heinz release.
What flavors will Kraft Cheesy Ramen have?
Kraft is starting with 3 varieties based on familiar American ramen flavors.
The initial lineup includes:
- Spicy, combining Kraft cheese flavor with a stronger heat;
- Chicken, pairing cheese with the savory profile of chicken ramen;
- Pork, designed around a richer and heartier broth-style flavor.
All 3 varieties contain no artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes, according to Kraft Heinz.
The company is not simply putting its existing macaroni cheese powder onto another noodle shape. Each variety is intended to combine Kraft’s cheese profile with a recognizable ramen flavor.
When will Kraft Cheesy Ramen be available?
Kraft Heinz officially says the new ramen will reach stores nationwide in early 2027.
Delish reports a more specific April 2027 launch. Kraft’s October 6 announcement, however, does not confirm an April date.

Why Kraft is moving into ramen
The company points to changing eating habits rather than a novelty launch alone.
Kraft Heinz says the U.S. ramen category is worth about $2.7 billion. It also reports 9% year-over-year growth.
Cheesy ramen has grown particularly quickly. Kraft says the segment has doubled during the past 3 years.
“Consumers are increasingly looking for bold flavors and new ways to enjoy the foods they love,” marketing vice president Nicolas Henault said.
The launch also fits Kraft Heinz’s wider strategy of extending established brands into new eating occasions.
Is this the same Kraft ramen already sold in Canada?
No. Kraft has already explored ramen through its Kraft Dinner brand in Canada.
The new U.S. launch carries Kraft Mac & Cheese branding and has its own Spicy, Chicken and Pork lineup.
For American shoppers, it represents Kraft Mac & Cheese’s first direct move into the ramen category.
